Scottish Pacific was a major sponsor of the Sydney2CAMberra ride in 2013 to raise money for Still Birth and SIDs. CEO Peter Langham and Sydney based Business Development Manager, Ryan Mitchell undertook the 300km ride on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th March. As a group the riders raised over $80,000 with the Scottish Pacific connection contributing $3000.

The concept for the Sydney 2 CAMberra Charity Ride was created after a young Sydney couple from Cronulla lost their son Cameron through stillbirth. The tragic event heavily impacted their lives and touched many of their family members and friends.

In Australia, each year, 2,000 babies are stillborn and this number has remained steady for over ten years. That is more than 5 babies every day.

Ryan and Peter are riding for the same cause again this year on February 14th and 15th. Here is a clip of the riders collecting their kits from the organizers.
